Wildlife Services
Cape Ann Wildlife, Inc. provides licensed, professional wildlife rehabilitation services for injured, orphaned, and compromised wildlife. Our goal is always the same: to give each animal the best possible chance to heal and return safely to the wild.
Compassionate Care When Wildlife Needs It Most
-
If you find an injured or distressed wild animal, please text immediately. We provide emergency care for:
Raptors (hawks, owls, eagles, falcons) text Erin Hutchings at:
(508) 470-1930Pigeons, doves, and songbirds (adults only) text Jodi Swenson at: (978) 325-2501
When an animal falls outside our intake scope, we will help guide you to the appropriate next steps or referrals.
Please call with wildlife emergencies. Do not email or message. Calls are the fastest way to help an animal.
-
We accept and care for healthy orphaned:
Raptors
Pigeons
Doves
Each animal receives species-appropriate nutrition, safe housing, and minimal human contact to prevent imprinting and support successful release.
-
Not every wild animal found alone needs to be rescued. In fact, many young animals are best left with their parents.
We provide:
Renesting advice for fallen nestlings
Assessment guidance to determine if intervention is necessary
Education on natural wildlife behaviors
Texting or calling before intervening can save lives and prevent unnecessary stress to wildlife.
-
Rehabilitation goes beyond healing injuries. Animals in our care receive:
Medical treatment and recovery support
Species-specific conditioning and strength building
Care designed to maintain natural behaviors
Our ultimate goal is release back into the wild, whenever it is safe and possible.

Rehabbers Prayer
Give us strength today we pray,
And light our path along the way.
Lend our hands Your healing touch,
For wild ones that need us much.
We ask for hope and courage too.
Help us know what's best to do.
You've led them here into our care,
Please help us ease the pain they bear.
When weariness invades our souls,
And sleepless nights all take their toll,
Bathe us with Your healing Light
And lift us gently with Your might.
Give us faith to set them free.
To earth and water to sky and tree.
And if you call them back to stay
Ease their passage home we pray
